Years ago I was feeling a lot of frustration about being tired. I had taken steps to get my life onto a more stable track after being homeless. I had an apartment and was working consistently. I was eating solid meals at least 3 times a day. I was managing my daily schedule to promote health.
Yet I was tired. A lot. Even with daily yoga and meditation.
I met a famous healer who said, "Well, maybe your aura is out too far!"
Most people don't talk about that. If you think it sounds woo woo, remember biology. Every muscle twitch and every nerve input is a bioelectric phenomenon. Your body passes an electric signal along a nerve fiber. Physics tells us that whenever electricity moves there is a corresponding magnetic field. Hundreds of signals are zipping through your body every minute. Which means we each have our own, fluctuating electromagnetic field around our body. That's part of our aura.
An aura is subtle. The aura is part of physical reality. Some children perceive auras. Sometimes in color. In such cases, many parents tell kids, "that's just your imagination." Which is part of "fitting in" to society. Peer pressure can also accomplish convincing a person that what they perceive is not acceptable.
The healer, Jim, asked me to close my eyes. He was leaving the room. He asked me to tell him when I felt him enter my space. He went down the hallway and around a corner.
With my eyes closed I felt something like a faint touch. Jim was about 23 feet away. My aura was expanded to 23 feet away from my body.
Jim told me I needed to pull my aura in tight around my body.
A person's aura may expand for a variety of reasons. Including trauma or neglect.
Once your aura is expanded, anything that comes inside of it will feel like your own stuff. Whether it is an angry person, someone hungover, someone exhausted, sad, confused, hungry, etc. It can feel like you are suddenly angry, hungover, exhausted, sad, confused, or hungry, or whatever.
Some people mistakenly think that they should expand their aura to have better meditation. Or that it is a sign of advancement.
Expansion of awareness happens on the level of consciousness, not the physical level of the body or aura.
Pulling the aura in can be done with verbal requests. Even if you cannot sense anything about your own aura. Try this:
At first it is often better to do this with eyes closed. While sitting, standing, or lying down, say the following out loud;
"May my aura be solid and pulled in close around my body. OM namah shivaya, Jai Guru Dev, Jai Ma."
The mantras make it work better.
Try it morning and evening for a few days. If privacy is an issue, you can repeat the phrase silently.
(On that note, please let me know if you have any concerns with being sensitive or experiencing energy fluctuations. I am putting together some training to deal with that. Maybe you were told you are too sensitive!?)
Please let me know what you think.
I am interested in your journey.
